"Thanks for running a wonderful component of the event, well done to yourself and the team! Thanks for being so amazing to work with." - Melissa Redcliffe Festival Team

"I would like to thank you for the lovely service you gave on Sunday for my Grandsons Baptism. I have received a lot of feedback from our family and friends, many of them are not church goers however they really enjoyed the service. They felt the way you delivered it with the puppet etc was very different to what they are used to in church services. They felt that it was definitely a way to keep all of the congregation interested and listening to the sermon."

"We would like to Thank you for all the efforts you put into the Goer wedding. Your message was a memorable part of the day and the rest of the ceremony was also beautifully performed. Both me and Thelma found we became more relaxed as we began the ceremony, we would contribute this to the way you delivered your message." - Wedding Couple.

"I wanted to hear your sermon before the new year commenced. What compelling words. I have tears in my eyes as I write. I would like you to know that you as a minister, the RUC community and the holy spirit came into my life just at the right time in." New Member.

“I have just arrived back from holidays, I had tears in my eyes when I saw the room, I can not thank you all enough for the fantastic job you all have done. Again thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart, the reaction from the staff in the office is incredible, so I can only imagine what the children’s reaction will be like.” - Dept of Communities worker after our room renovation.

What to expect on Sunday...

PLEASE NOTE COVID HAS AFFECTED SOME OF THIS INFORMATION.

On a typical Sunday at 9am around 150-200 people of all ages and cultures gather. We begin with singing as a way to praise God. This is led with a band and sometimes our pipe organ. We offer prayers through the service for our world, ourselves and others. There will be some specific creative input for children (of all ages!) We often have puppets. Children 2-12 can then join our children’s ministry while teens and older hear the Bible read, and an engaging message proclaimed.

The third Sunday of the month the children remain and the whole service is aimed at engaging everyone!

The first Sunday of the month we share communion.

The service typically runs for 70 minutes. Afterwards an informal morning tea is served - it is a great chance to get to meet some people. [Not during covid]

There is a parent’s room for those with young children, headphones for those with hearing difficulties and people with disabilities are always welcome. We have newly renovated toilets with disability access, and parents change room and access for fail aged.

You will not be singled out as a visitor during the service! You are quite welcome to come along and ‘watch’ from the sidelines, but come early if you want a seat at the back!

Our ‘style’ is inter-generational, contemporary, informed by tradition with a charismatic flavour. Everything we do flows from Jesus and the Bible.

Our 5pm Contemplative Prayer service [small group silent prayer] is currently operating.

The 4pm Worship option [Odd Sundays] is traditional is style singing the great hymns of the church (currently not happening due to Covid).

Families @ Five [Even Sunday's 5pm] engage in a creative activity for all the family, followed by a meal together, then a faith input. Lots of kids (currently not happening due to Covid).
