After 12 years of faithful service, Paul [& Becky] Clark are concluding their service to us. They joined Redcliffe Uniting in 2012 with a mandate to bring new life into the church, especially seeking to make our congregation intergenerational, and connected to community. They have done this and then some.
Becky rebuilt Sunday school, and was blessed to re-vitalise playgroup. Sunday school went from 5 children, to 4 classes before Covid. Playgroup went from one morning to 5 days a week, parenting breakfasts, courses, Day Camp, families at 5 and all sorts of fun extras.
Paul meanwhile did very little. Ok, he helped God grow the congregation, with Becky, helping us grow younger with his puppets, stories and inexhaustible creativity. He reached out to the community, whether it was as the 'At the Top' guy on 96FIVE FM radio and around Australia, writing for the local paper, puppets in schools, rebuilding the Redcliffe Church Leader's Network, Helping to set up the Redcliffe Care Network, helping to employ a Redcliffe RI Coordinator, fund raise for School Chaplains - and then help set the vision to build a $5M Community Services HUB, right in the heart of Redcliffe, serving hundreds if not thousands of locals each months. He passionately supported the Moreton Bay Says NO 2 Violence Campaign as a community leader to eliminate Domestic Violence.
